I have attended Christian college and gone through seminary to be a pastor, and I cant stress enough how great this app is. Ive had Online Bible for quite a while now, comparing it to different Bible study apps and trying to see which one is the best. Online Bible is by far the best free app - and honestly, the first one I go to every time I want to study. I only check the other ones to see how they might enhance this app - because they definitely cant replace it! I dont read from this app for my daily reading because the version (AV) is hard to read/understand sometimes. But what sets this app at the top for me is for the original language word study. It breaks down the Hebrew and Greek words, clarifies parsing, and gives full definitions and understandings - and you can search original words throughout the whole Bible!!! Easily 5 stars.

The Online Bible has probably the fastest search engine of any Bible program Ive used in the past twenty years - and Ive used many! Its great to finally see an iOS version of it. The base package offered is a very good start to what promises to be an excellent iOS App. Im eagerly looking forward to future upgrades, especially Notes thatll sync across platforms. Keep up the good work!
Love it. Use it daily. I would like to have a verse highlight feature. For now I use the book mark instead.
Great app, as is, but I would expect to see it grow, as the mainframe app has. One of, if not the best bible study app,s in existance.
Some bad moments
I use a number of Bible resources. Some $100s even $1000s. OLB on my Mac is still my favorite and Ive used it for years! This iPad version is similar; not the most elaborate. But it is still the one I use most of the time. Get it. Youll use it. And it will get the job done!

Excellent app! I use Online Bible on my computer and was thrilled to see they now have an app!
This is my favorite Bible app because it has my favorite translation: CJB - Complete Jewish Bible. Ive found it nowhere else.
I used Windows Online Bible for many years. IOS version is very good, it is well though out with many features that are very useful. I highly recommend it for serious bible study.

Probably the simplest way to study the original words in the text by use of Strongs numbering. The theme index is also very helpful and easy to use. This program will not take the place of all other Bible programs for me. For example, it has only a limited number of translations, but it has found an important place in my regular study of Gods Word.
